Revenants and Rebellions

The Band met each other through some minor divine agency when a group of servants of the Morrigan awakened her Scion in downtown Charleston. The Band was sent to deal with a Titan plot in the area. Their investigation led them to stop a terrible ritual by a corrupted Scion to call a zombie horde of murdered slaves to assault the nearby city of Charleston. His plan was to use a sympathetic ritual relating to the Stono River Slave Rebellion. His attempt was foiled by the Band, but he escaped, doubtless to plague the Band once more.

Deep Thoughts

The Band are still trying to get their bearings and figure out how to find their escaped adversary from Revenants and Rebellions when they are confronted with an assault on a local library’s historical artifacts display. The Band confronts a group of monstrous “mermen” who are stealing several items from the display. The mermen are defeated and the Band recovers the artifacts: a shaftless trident of some unknown material and a small crystalline figurine of some strange figure resembling a large anthropomorphic toad.

A Time for Fellowship

The Band becomes involved in an investigation of the death of one of Bert’s employees. The case led them to investigate a new cult-like religious group calling itself The Fellowship of the Titans. The leader of the cult had taken control of the husband of Jane Dewey, who became “Chains”, the cult’s enforcer. “Chains” had sacrificed his two children and the cult leader tried to sacrifice Jane Dewey as well. The Band confronted the Fellowship at its attempted “coming out” at a public park in Charleston and rescued Jane Dewey. “Chains” was killed but the cult leader escaped.

A Musical Interlude

The Band is tasked by the Morrigan with recovering the Uaithne, Dagda’s harp. They search for Leigh Stone, a Scion of Dagda that went missing at about the same time as the harp. During the adventure, the Band rescued the Ballentine Family. The Band eventually found the harp and defeated the one who kidnapped Leigh Stone. The Scion of Balor, Lorne Marner, was killed and the harp recovered.

Rocks and Hard Places

The Band received a cryptic dream-message from an oracle trapped in a small mountain town called Luperton in North Carolina. In response, they managed to travel to the town to discover a town full of people caught under the spell of a goblin king that kept them trapped in the town. The townsfolk had attempted to enlist the help of a group of werewolves, but ended up instead being prey to two groups of predators instead of just one. The Band managed to play the two groups of monsters off against each other, using the goblins to distract and destroy the bulk of the werewolf pack while the Band itself took down the pack leaders. The triumphant Band then confronted the goblins and used their persuasive wiles (and not-so-veiled threats) to convince the goblins to let the town go. However, the Band did learn that the werewolves were part of a larger entity known as Krieger International, and they may have bitten off more than they are willing to chew…
